Bloom Foam is made from a mixture of seaweed powder and EVA (Ethylene Vinyl Acetate), which is commonly used in the manufacture of shoe soles.

Unlike Bloom Foam, conventional soles are made of 100% synthetic materials. Bloom foam is therefore, considered to be a more ecological alternative.

IS IT ECO-RESPONSIBLE?

There are several advantages to the use of this process. The use of seaweed reduces the amount of synthetic materials by approximately 15 to 20%.
It also helps to fight against their proliferation in the water which can sometimes disturb the aquatic ecosystem.

WHAT ARE THE LIMITS?

Although it is a good alternative, Bloom Foam is not completely eco-friendly. The use of EVA in its composition prevents it from being biodegradable.
