HEMP
Hemp is a plant that can be cultivated on all continents, on any type of soil, in temperatures ranging from 7 to 30 degrees. It requires very little water and fits perfectly into organic agriculture.
Today, France is the leading producer of textile hemp with an annual production of more than 48,000 tons.
IS IT ECO-RESPONSIBLE?
The cultivation of hemp is ecological. It is a very resistant plant that requires very little water and for which pesticides and fertilizers can be avoided. It also stores CO2 in the soil, helping it to regenerate.
Hemp clothing is also completely biodegradable.
WHAT ARE THE LIMITS?
It is preferable to choose hemp from local cultures, produced in Europe or even in France in order to reduce the carbon footprint of textile production as much as possible.
HOW TO CARE FOR IT ?
We advise you to wash occasionally and at a very low temperature (30° maximum).
