ECONYL

Econyl is a 100% recycled and recyclable nylon fiber. It is made from collected plastic waste such as used water bottles, fishing nets, yarn scraps or industrial nylon textiles.

IS IT ECO-RESPONSIBLE ?

Econyl is entirely recycled and recyclable, ad infinitum. It allows the exploitation of plastic waste, very often found in our oceans. It is a recycling process that is beneficial to the environment.

Econyl also reduces the production of certain synthetic fibers such as polyester or elastane.

WHAT ARE THE LIMITS ?

Econyl is an effective alternative to nylon.

It is, however, not a perfect solution. Nylon remains a synthetic chemical material derived from petroleum.
