JUTE

Jute is a tropical plant of the Malvaceae family, found mainly in Asia. It is a natural vegetal material, biodegradable and recyclable. With 3 million tons of jute per year, it is the most produced plant fiber in the world.

IS IT ECO-RESPONSIBLE ?

The cultivation of jute has a positive impact on our planet. It improves air quality because it absorbs carbon dioxide and releases oxygen.
Unlike plastic, its production is non-polluting and does not deplete any oil reserves.

WHAT ARE THE LIMITS?

This material needs to be exported because it is mostly produced in Asia.

HOW TO CARE FOR IT ?

Jute requires special care. It is a material that does not support humidity. In case it would be in contact with moisture, you risk the shrinkage or the degradation of your garment.
It is therefore necessary to clean it dry.
