NETTLE
Among the thirty or so existing species of nettle, only three can produce textile fibers: ramie, Himalayan nettles and European nettles. In the Middle Ages, it was already used to produce ropes or threads and clothing.
IS IT ECO-RESPONSIBLE?
It is an entirely plant-based and ecological fiber. It is a good alternative to cotton cultivation because it is a perennial plant that requires very little irrigation, fertilizer or pesticide.
