MILK FIBER
Milk fiber is not among the latest innovations in textile fiber. It was in the 1930s that the first attempt was made to create a milk protein fiber as a substitute for wool.
It is an artificial material made from animal proteins found in mammalian milk.
IS IT ECO-RESPONSIBLE?
It is an ecological and natural material. If we were to compare it to cotton, it requires only two liters of water for its production against 10 000 for cotton.
All clothes made from this fiber are biodegradable and compostable. This material also helps to fight against the waste of industrial milk outdated or unfit for consumption.
